Parent Teacher Conferences

-Monday March 3, 3:30-8:30 is one night of parent teacher conferences.  This night is open for any parents to talk with teachers about the progress of their child.  Please note because we are trying something new this year, we are planning another night of parent/teacher interaction with an open house of learning called the Learning Showcase, APRIL 30, 3:30-7:30.

Our vision is if you have concerns, issues, or questions about your child's progress or another issue, please visit the teacher that you need to meet with on Monday March 3.

On the other hand if you are a parent that is happy with your child's progress and want to be supportive of their educational process, please attend the Learning Showcase on April 30.  It will be an exciting night for students to share their learning with the community.  Teachers will be present to discuss anything on your mind at that time as well.

A note about conferences....

Most students are having a discussion in 1st hour as well, but here is some information from the office (also posted on the website) in regards to this round of conferences.....
Parent Teacher Conferences
This spring we are going to run conferences a little different.  We will be offering a traditional conference on Monday, March 3 from 3:30 - 8:30.  We encourage you to attend if you have concerns you would like to address with your student's teachers.  We do not want to discourage anyone from attending, but would like to maximize the time our teachers have this night to talk with parents and students who are having some struggles in school.

If you do not have concerns but would simply like to check in, instead please consider sending an email now to your student's teachers and plan to attend our Learning Showcase on April 30 from 3:30 to 7:30 PM.  Our Learning Showcase is an opportunity for your students to show off what they have been working on this year and a great way for you to show support for your kids and HMS.  We would love to see everyone there!

If you have specific questions about your student, or would like further information, please contact the office.
