Today in ELA:
Students turned in and checked in the homework assignments from yesterday: Chp. 21 from There's a Boy, the Conclusion of their Genetic Essay Outline and any other parts of the Essay Outline they were late on. 50% of the students took care of their responsibilities. Students selected parts from the play "Novio Boy" and practiced reading aloud with correct decoding, rate and phrasing. They will perform the play tomorrow and respond to questions about the play.

Students are doing a session of Xtra Math and Delta Math Practice Problems, in addition to finishing their Flaky Fraction.

It's Think Tank Thursday! Students will be determining, discussing and doing the task they need the most improvement on: Some of the possibilities are: test prep, test taking, homework completion, organization and on-task strategizing.
