Hello Trimester 2!!!
Today we:
*finished up Christmas cards for Troops
*cleaned out folders
*previewed trimester 2
*received progress reports from Trimester 1
~~ Please note: The reports your student received today will show how they are doing in the area of each standard assessed in Trimester 1. Grades are also updated online. Due to the need to report a final grade, we did end up averaging how students did on standards into a final grade. All writing standards were worth 45%, all reading standards worth 45%, and all language standards worth 10%. However, we did discuss with the students and encourage them to not just focus on final grade, but really look at their marks for each standard to get a good picture of what they understand well & where they could use improvement!!~
