Good Morning!!
Well, we find ourselves home yet again..... :(.
Yesterday, we worked on writing the introduction to our essay. If you did not finish, please try to finish that by Monday. Also, if you want to try writing a conclusion, here are a few tips:
-Start with stating the thesis statement again as your 1st sentence.
-Take a sentence or two to wrap up your topic.... think, why is it important to know about?
-The last sentence, leave the reader with a good thought... think, a hope for the future, a challenge to the reader, etc.
Try it!! We'll work with that on Monday... at least let's hope mother nature cooperates, I miss you all!!!

Welcome Back!
Today in Resource English Language Arts we created mosaic discs representing things that are important to each of us in a colorful and creative way.
Homework: Read! Congrats to those that worked on the literacy bingo sheet sent home over break! Prizes were awarded to those that brought it in today. If it was filled out, but forgotten, bring it in to collect your prize! The poinsettia direction following activity was handed off to students to take home.
Today in Resource Math we created a string ornament titled "God's Eyes". Ask you child to show you his/hers! The two snowmen math activities and the holiday pop-up cards were handed off to students to take home today.
Today in Guided Studies students checked their Powerschool Accounts and reflected on their grades, assessed if anything was missing, if anything needed retaking and what their goal for the week is.
Homework: Productivity Checklist due tomorrow
